Fahad Mahmood’s research utilizes coherent light-matter interaction at ultrafast (fs to ps) timescales to engineer electronic and magnetic interactions and symmetries in quantum materials, probe their spatial and temporal correlations and realize novel non-equilibrium phases of matter.
