IQUIST Outreach Efforts

IQUIST is committed to promoting learning opportunities for the public and students to explore Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE). IQUIST has multiple outreach initiatives locally in the Champaign – Urbana community and statewide. The outreach initiatives include classroom & after school lessons, STEM workshops at community-based organizations, and events on campus. By providing informal and practical methods of learning to spread awareness of QISE, IQUIST will promote interest for students to consider careers related to Quantum.

IQUIST Broader Impact

IQUIST has continued to grow outreach initiatives along with our partners from The Chicago Quantum Exchange, Hybrid Quantum Architectures and Networks (HQAN) and Public Quantum Network (PQN). IQUIST has hosted or collaborated Quantum Information Science Education programs and lessons for K-12 students, community based organizations, and mass public events. Through those outreach initiatives IQUIST has reached diverse populations to increase awareness of Quantum Information Science and Engineering in Illinois.
