Bryan Clark works in the areas of computational condensed matter, quantum algorithms and quantum circuits. He works on developing quantum algorithms for simulating quantum systems including automatically generating circuits to diagonalize Hamiltonians; developing ways of simulating condensed matter on NISQ machines; and improved quantum algorithms for Hubbard models. He also works on classical approaches to simulate quantum systems as well as establishing the line between quantum advantages and classical simulatability.
