Brian DeMarco’s research interests center on analog quantum simulation of strongly correlated Hubbard models using ultracold atoms trapped in optical lattices. He is launching new QIS efforts, including a joint project to realize cluster-state quantum computing using ultracold molecules and the IQUIST distributed ion-trap quantum computing testbed.
