Hannah Stites is a Research Program Coordinator for the Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology (IQUIST) Center of the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She previously worked as an Office Administrator from 2021-2024, supporting IQUIST as well as the Quantum Sensing and Quantum Materials (QSQM) Center, the Hybrid Quantum Architectures and Networks (HQAN) Center, and the National Q-12 Education Partnership. Hannah also worked in the Department of Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering (NPRE) department head's office from 2017-2021. She served as Section Leader for the Campus Charitable Fund Drive (CCFD) and received the 2019-2020 American Nuclear Society (ANS) Outstanding Staff Award.

Hannah received her B.S. and M.S. in Crop Sciences, focusing on Plant Breeding and Genetics, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has been an Illinois Administrative Professionals (IAP) member since 2018. She served the professional development organization as President from 2022-2023 after serving as President-Elect from 2021-2022. She has co-chaired the IAP Membership & Mentoring Committee since 2020 and has been the Social Chair since 2022. Hannah has also completed the United Way's Emerging Community Leaders @ Illinois Program in 2023 and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Emerging Women Leaders Program in 2024.
