David Ceperley has a long history in high performance computing. In collaboration with DeMarco, he investigated cold atom emulator for many-body systems. He is further interested in using quantum computer to solve problems for many-body quantum systems, and using quantum Monte Carlo techniques to understand materials that would be used in experimental projects.
